Storymakers provides 1:1 private tuition for both children and adults, virtually and in-person.

Choose from session times of 45 minutes, one hour or 90 minutes. In addition to 1:1 lessons, you can also book sessions for two, three or four individuals who would like to work together.

What private English tuition is available?

Comprehension and creative writing for 11+ and independent school exams – deep dive into pieces of text to understand structure, meaning and author’s use of language as well as learning the techniques required for writing descriptive pieces and interesting stories.

General English and writing skills – for children who want to reinforce what they have already learned of for those who have fallen behind for whatever reason and needs some help catching up. In addition, for adults who would like to improve in this area.

English for non-native English speakers – individuals for whom English is not their first language may want to take a different approach to learning and they can do this via TEFL-based English lessons.

Mentoring for authors – for anyone already writing stories or novels but who feel they would like some guidance, 1:1 sessions can provide the clarity they need. This approach to writing helps develop and hone skills to take your writing to the next level.
